CANTU
RALLIES AS
PIONEERS
ADVANCE TO SAC TOURNAMENT SEMIFINALS
GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Samantha
Cantu rallied from a set down to win a three-set thriller at No. 3 singles
as third-seeded Tusculum College edged No. 6 Catawba College 5-4 in a
quarterfinal match of the 2007 Food Lion South Atlantic Conference Women's
Tennis Tournament.

2-1 advantage after doubles play as the visitors captured points at the top two

defeated Fluegge 6-4, 6-3 at No. 1 singles, while McKinzie answered with a 6-1,

Pike tied the match at 4-4 with
her grueling 7-6, 7-5 win over Cartmill at No. 5
singles, leaving the third flight match as the deciding point.
