OBLINGER TRANSFERS TO TUSCULUM
GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Brittney
Oblinger has transferred from Campbell University to attend Tusculum College
and play volleyball for the Pioneers announced TC head coach Nathan Baker.

setter from Belvidere, Ill.

campus after playing the last two seasons at NCAA Division I Campbell. While at the Buies Creek, N.C. school, she played in 40 games, including 27 as a freshman.
In 2005, she finished fifth on the team averaging 0.22 service aces
per game. She also averaged 3.59 assists
per game, which ranked third on the team.
Oblinger accounted for a career-best 21 assists in the Camels' 3-0
win over Barton.
"Brittney is a quality player
and an exceptional person," said Baker. "She will make an immediate impact with
our squad. I had the chance to recruit
during her prep career and I have always loved her drive and determination
she shows on the court."
She played her prep volleyball
at Belvidere
High School where she finished as the school's
all-time leader in assists (1,765) and service aces (117). Oblinger was a three-time All-Conference performer
and finished her senior campaign with 498 assists, 63 kills, 42 aces and 95
digs. She garnered All-State recognition
at the AA-level and was selected as the Gatorade Player of the Week.
The Pioneers posted a 23-10 overall
record in 2006, including 9-5 in South Atlantic Conference play, its best
league mark since joining the conference eight years ago.
Tusculum
College, located in Greeneville,
Tenn., is a member of the Presbyterian Church,
USA and is a NCAA Division
II member of the South Atlantic Conference which is comprised of nine colleges
and universities in Tennessee, North Carolina and South
Carolina.
