TUSCULUM VOLLEYBALL SWEEPS PAIR AT C-N TOURNAMENT

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. --- The Tusculum College volleyball team recorded a pair wins on Saturday afternoon in the final day of the 2007 Carson-Newman Tournament.

The Pioneers (4-5) rallied from a 2-0 deficit to defeat Mt. Olive College 3-2, winning by scores of 21-30, 25-30, 30-23, 30-26, 15-12. In the second match of the day, Tusculum swept North Greenville University 3-0 by scores of 30-16, 30-18, 30-14.

Tusculum returns to action on Wednesday when the Pioneers travel to Lander University for a 7 p.m. contest in Greenwood, S.C.
