PIONEERS HOST TUSCULUM VOLLEYBALL FALL CLASSIC THIS WEEKEND

 

                GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- The Tusculum College volleyball team will host the 2007 TC Fall Classic this weekend at Pioneer Arena.  Tusculum will host five other colleges and universities this Friday and Saturday on the Greeneville campus.

 

                Joining the Pioneers this weekend will be Barton College, Carson-Newman College, Kentucky State University, Virginia Intermont College and West Liberty State College.

 

                Action begins Friday afternoon at 4 p.m. with a pair of matches.  Tusculum will face Virginia Intermont on Court A, while Kentucky State and Barton square off on Court B.  Six matches will be played each day, including six on Saturday beginning at 10 a.m.

 

                Tusculum College, located in Greeneville, Tenn., is affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA) and is a NCAA Division II member of the South Atlantic Conference which is comprised of nine colleges and universities in Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina.
