TUSCULUM'S VIVIAN LACY LISTED IN NCAA VOLLEYBALL STATISTICS
INDIANAPOLIS --- Tusculum College senior outside hitter Vivian Lacy is listed 18th
in the nation in kills per game according to this week's NCAA Division II
volleyball statistics announced College officials Wednesday.
Lacy, a 5-7
product of Palm Bay, Fla., entered this week's action
averaging 4.62 kills per game. Lacy is
the only player in Division II to record 30 kills in a match twice so far this
season. She tallied 32 kills in Tusculum's
3-2 road win at Catawba
College last Saturday. She also posted 30 kills in a road loss at Lander University
earlier this month.
As a team, Tusculum is mentioned twice in this week's
statistics. The Pioneers are 20th
in blocks per game (2.71 bpg) and 26th in
hitting percentage (.254).
Tusculum (10-7, 2-1 in South Atlantic
Conference) has won six of its last seven matches and nine of its last 11. The Pioneers will be on the road this weekend
at the Anderson University Invitational.
