GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Vivian
Lacy recorded 24 kills, 15 digs and a .444 hitting percentage as the
Tusculum College volleyball team defeated visiting Carson-Newman College 3-1
Tuesday night at Pioneer Arena in South Atlantic Conference volleyball action.
The Pioneers (17-8, 6-4 SAC) won
the match by scores of 30-19, 25-30, 30-24, 30-25 to complete its first season
sweep over the Lady Eagles (11-11, 3-7 SAC) since joining the conference.
Holli Cadenhead added 14 kills, while Stacey Ray dished out 50 assists and
made 10 digs for the Pioneers.
C-N's Kelli Sorensen posted 14 kills, while Kelsey Fleck added 10 kills and a match-high six blocks for the
visitors. Kari Gibson added 22 assists and three service aces, while Bruna Rasuck dished
out 16 helpers and six digs.
