TUSCULUM VOLLEYBALL SWEEPS PRESBYTERIAN 3-0

 

                GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Tusculum's Vivian Lacy recorded a double-double with 13 kills and 14 digs as the Pioneers defeated Presbyterian 3-0 Saturday afternoon in South Atlantic Conference volleyball action.  Tusculum (19-8, 8-4 SAC) won the match by scores of 30-24, 30-20, 30-26.

 

                Lacy posted a .355 hitting percentage to along with four service aces.  Alexis Rowles also added 14 digs and four aces in the victory.

 

                The Blue Hose (7-23, 1-11 SAC) were led by Justine Lanchester's 10 kills, while Lauren Mason added eight kills and 10 digs in the loss.

 

                Tusculum returns to action on Tuesday when it travels to Concord University for a 7 p.m. contest.  Presbyterian will also be on the road Tuesday when they take on UNC Pembroke.
