TUSCULUM VOLLEYBALL LISTED EIGHTH IN NCAA SOUTH REGION

 

                INDIANAPOLIS --- The Tusculum College volleyball team is listed eighth in the latest NCAA Division II South Region rankings announced College officials Thursday.

 

                The Pioneers have posted an impressive 21-8 record, including 9-2 in South Atlantic Conference, which is second in the league.

 

                Defending NCAA II champion Tampa holds the top spot in the region poll, followed by conference rival Florida Southern.  SAC leader Wingate is third, followed by Saint Leo, Nova Southeastern, Eckerd, Lynn, Tusculum, Catawba and Rollins

 

                Tusculum has won 13 of its last 14 matches and will travel to Newberry College Friday night for 7 p.m. league contest.
