Jane C. Sandusky, assistant professor of athletic training, serves as director of the Athletic Training Education Program. She has held this position at Tusculum since 2000. In 1978, Sandusky received a Master of Science degree in Physical Education from Indiana University. She has been a BOC-certified athletic trainer since 1978 and holds athletic training practice licenses in Tennessee, Kentucky, and North Carolina.

Sandusky has been a college instructor in Athletic Training and the sport sciences for more than 25 years. She taught at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and Pfeiffer University before coming to Tusculum College. She has 15 years of clinical experience at both the high school and collegiate levels. Sandusky is active the National Athletic Trainers' Association as a BOC-certified test examiner and as a Home Study CEU reviewer. She has been an American Red Cross instructor in first aid and CPR for over 30 years.
