Dr. Jason R. Jones comes to Tusculum from the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, Mississippi where he earned a Ph.D. in Teaching and Administrating: Sports Administration. His research interests include coaching and player development. Dr. Jones' disstertaion was titled Soccer Penalty Kick Pre-Impact Cues of Male Right-Footed High School Soccer Players.
Dr. Jones also holds a Master of Science in Sports Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi and a Bachelor of Science (Cum Laude) from Belhaven College in Jackson, Mississippi.
Dr. Jones served as the Men's Assistant Soccer Coach at Bellhaven College from 2005-2006. He has been an adjunct member of the Faculty at the School of Human Performance & Recreation at
the University of Souther Mississippi. From 2001-2004, Dr. Jones was a teaching graduate assistant, also at the University of Southern Mississippi.
