Kim Carter is a 1993 graduate of Tusculum College with a BA in Biology and Chemistry with Secondary Licensing.
She began working at Tusculum in the fall of 1993 as a laboratory assistant. In 1999 she obtained her Master's Degree from ETSU with a major in Environmental Health specializing in Industrial Health and Safety. At this same time she began to teach at Tusculum College. She presently teaches Environmental Science, Introductory Biology, and Industrial Safety. She also works with the Professional Studies program as a professor and also teaches with the Upward Bound program on campus.
Her interests include reading, crafting, teaching at Pleasant Vale CP church, quilting, and spending time with her family.
