Dr. Richard Greenfield is Assistant Professor of English and Creative Writing. He joined the faculty of Tusculum College in the fall of 2005.

He teaches writing, including courses and workshops in creative writing, advanced poetry, film studies, composition, developmental writing, and business writing.

He is also faculty sponsor for the English Student Organization.

The author of A Carnage in the Lovetrees (University of California Press, 2003), his poetry and literary criticism has appeared in Boston Review, Denver Quarterly, Electronic Poetry Review, Five Fingers Review, Fourteen Hills, Lit, Soft Targets, Volt, and others. He is an editorial adviser for Noemi Press, co-editor of The Tusculum Review, and co-editor and co-founder of Apostrophe Books, a non-profit small press of poetry.

He holds degrees in English or Creative Writing from Portland State University (BS), the University of Montana (MFA), and the University of Denver (Ph.D.).
