IMPORTANT DATES IN THE FINANCIAL AID PROCESS

JANUARY 1st

As soon as possible, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on-line at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov or complete the paper version. Be sure to include our federal school code of 003527 for Tusculum College to receive your information.

FEBRUARY 15th

Priority deadline to receive financial aid for all students. Students who complete their FAFSA after this date should anticipate some aid funds being limited for the fall semester. These students should contact the Office of Financial Aid for information on alternative sources of funding. Tennessee residents applying for the Tennessee Student Assistance Award (TSAA) are encouraged to complete the FAFSA by this date as funds can become expended as early as March.

Tennessee residents applying for the Tennessee Educational Lottery Scholarship (TELS) are encouraged to complete the FAFSA by this date.

APRIL 15th

Submission deadline for the summer school financial aid application.

JUNE 30th

Last date to file the FAFSA for aid for the summer semester.

AUGUST 1st

Deadline to update your school choice to Tusculum College with the State of Tennessee for the TSAA grant for the Fall Semester. Deadline to update your school choice to Tusculum College with the State of Tennessee for the Tennessee Educational Lottery Scholarship (TELS) for the Fall Semester.

OCTOBER 31st

The priority deadline for transfer students to receive financial aid for the Spring Semester.

DECEMBER 1st

Deadline to update your school choice to Tusculum College with the State of Tennessee for the TSAA grant for the Spring Semester. Deadline to update your school choice to Tusculum College with the State of Tennessee for the Tennessee Educational Lottery Scholarship (TELS) for the Spring Semester.
