GROUNDSKEEPER

DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS
Tusculum College is taking applications for a temporary Groundskeeper. This is a seasonal position running through on or about October 2010. Position is responsible for operating grounds equipment including lawn mowers, sprayers, aerators, and or small tractors on campus. General duties of this position involves but is not limited to mowing grass, trimming shrubs, picking up liter, trash hauling, weeding out flower beds and watering trees.

ASSISTANT ATHLETIC MEDIA RELATIONS DIRECTOR/ ASSISTANT TO THE DIRECTOR OF ATHLETICS

DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS
The Assistant Athletic Media Relations Director/Assistant to the Director of Athletics is involved in all areas of the Tusculum Athletic Media Relations office, including media relations for the College's 14 intercollegiate sports. The Assistant SID will assist in the production of printed publications and news releases for all 14 sports which include editing, writing and lay-out design; assist in maintenance of the athletic web site; coordination, scheduling, evaluation and training of student staff; assist with game-day management. Travel with teams for selected events is also necessary. Other duties include set-up and clean-up of media areas. Directly responsible for all media relations for the sports of men's soccer, women's soccer, women's basketball, softball, men's tennis, women's tennis and cross country, publicity, statistics, archives, news releases and game day management. Other duties include public address announcements, music coordination, etc.; other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics and the Director of Athletic Media Relations.

ASSISTANT ATHLETIC TRAINER

DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS
Tusculum College invites applications for the position of Assistant Athletic Trainer. This is a full time 10 month position with benefits. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting the Head Athletic Trainer with all aspects of the athletic training program, directing of the athletic department's drug testing and education program, and performing other duties assigned by the Head Athletic Trainer and/or Athletic Director. This position will require team travel (Men's Basketball) as well as some night, weekend, and holiday hours.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Qualified applicants will have NATABOC certification and Tennessee licensure (or eligible). Masters degree preferred.

ENROLLMENT REPRESENTATIVE: TRI-CITIES CENTER

DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS
The primary responsibility is to educate non-traditional adult prospective students about Tusculum College and its programs. Candidates are required to develop a rapport with a variety of other constituents including businesses, faculty, TC staff, alumni and current students. Fairly extensive travel will be to local businesses, schools, career fairs and expositions, primarily in upper east Tennessee and surrounding borders. Other duties include significant phone counseling, reviewing applications, interviewing, site management and assisting with recruitment related events.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree required. Prior recruitment experience preferred. Effective oral and written communication skills, an outgoing personality, the ability to work independently, and as part of a team, a flexible attitude, and a willingness to work some evenings and weekends, as needed. Strong marketing and customer service skills required. This is a comprehensive position and requires a strong work ethic to be successful. Extensive knowledge of computers and a good driving record essential.

GRADUATE AND PROFESSIONAL STUDIES ADJUNCT FACULTY

DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS
The Graduate and Professional Studies program of Tusculum College seeks qualified adjunct faculty for the following teaching positions listed below. GPS offers non-traditional, accelerated, adult-orie nted classes. Most classes meet once a week for six weeks and are offered in the evening or on the weekends. Prior experience with adult students is preferred as well as experience teaching web-enhanced courses using an on-line course delivery system.

Master of Arts in Education Programs:Organizational Training and Education and Human Resource Development Concentrations - Terminal degree with demonstrated professional accomplishments in the instructional systems design (ISD) functions are required. Teach six week courses in Analysis of Instructional Needs and Performance Gap Analysis, Instructional Design, Evaluation of Adult Learning, Instructional Materials and Media.

Master's or Terminal degree (preferred) and at least 18 graduate hours in Reading, English, Science, Math or Art and experience in an Elementary Education classroom. This position is for potential adjunct instructors who have the availability to teach on Tuesday/Thursdays during the day or Friday evening/Saturdays.

Tusculum College, founded in 1794 and located in scenic Greeneville, TN, is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Vice President for Institutional Advancement. The successful candidate will realize bo ld goals and implement a strategic vision for a thriving institution known for its innovative course delivery structures and Presbyterian (USA) heritage. The Vice President for Institutional Advanceme nt will work closely with the President of the College, an experienced leadership team, and an engaged Board of Trustees.

The successful candidate will have a proven record of success in fundraising, preferably in the private, higher education environment.
