Billie Ann Pace

Billie Ann Pace is a graduate of Stephens College with an AA degree. Undergraduate and Graduate work were completed at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville earning both a BA Degree in Education and a Masters in Guidance and Counseling. As an Academic Resource Counselor at Tusculum College, Billie Ann meets with students to provide the encouragement and support needed for a successful college experience.

Billie Ann retired after a long career in Secondary and Higher Education. After her first job as instructor of Horsemanship at Tusculum, she served as Head Resident in the Student Affairs Housing Division at UT while earning her Masters Degree. Upon graduation she was appointed Dean of Women at the University of Tennessee at Martin where she continued to serve in various counseling and administrate roles for 17 years including Panhellenic Advising, Career and Counseling Center Director and Women's Program Director. She was active in academic advising initiatives and chaired a committee to open an on campus day care center.

After a move to Virginia with her family, she worked in both TRIO and Women's Opportunity Center Programs gaining additional experience in federally funded program administration at the Community College Level.

She also served as a high school guidance counselor while her three sons were in high school. While at the school she was involved with various student activities which included sponsoring JV cheerleading, Tri Hi Y, and assisting with coaching tennis.

Billie Ann and her husband Jim returned to Tusculum where they live in the family home. They have three grown sons. She says that the opportunity to continue to meet and work with students as they achieve is a welcome experience.
