Nancy Kilday
Nancy Kilday joined the Tusculum College staff 28 years ago as a secretary in the Admissions office. She soon graduated to the position of Coordinator of Admissions Activities which involved supervising the daily operations of the admissions office, some traveling for the college and speaking with prospective students and their parents. This extensive background made Nancy the logical candidate for the Administrative Assistant post when the Academic Resource Center opened in the fall of 2005. Nancy's superior organizational, communication and problem solving skills make the everyday operations of the Resource Center run smoothly. After graduating Doak High School and attending ETSU and Tusculum College, Nancy married Jack Kilday and they had two daughters. Prior to her work at Tusculum College, Nancy was employed by the Greene County School System. She accepted the secretarial position after being a stay-at-home mom for her two young daughters. This was a change of pace after working for the Farm Services Agency and as dental assistant for Dr. Lynn Smith in Greeneville. All outside activities including walking, garden work, fishing, and planting flowers are a source of pleasure for Nancy. The enjoyment is doubled when she is joined by her children and grandchildren. Nancy and her family attend Mount Zion United Church in Afton. Other ARC Staff
