Theatre-at-Tusculum began in 1997 with the
premiere of Apropos Appalachia, a comedy about two
local families, written and compiled by Marilyn duBrisk and
Delina Hensley, with excerpts from Echos &
Postcards. This production included Tusculum faculty
and staff, along with other members of the Greeneville
community.
Our productions take place once during the
first semester, and another show is presented in the second.
Marilyn duBrisk directs the large production in the fall
and Delina Hensley directs a smaller show (usually a
one-act) during the spring in our black box theatre. The
smaller productions in the Spring semester showcase the
talents of Tusculum students.
