Children's Story Hour
November 18, 2010
On Thursday evening Garland Library staff and Bonner Leaders, Mara Rutherford and Kalie Smith, hosted the children of the Tusculum College Community in the 2nd annual Children's Story Hour. The Theme "Where the Wild Things Are", based on the book by Maurice Sendak was a big hit with all. The children created "Wild Thing" masks and listened to the story read by Scott "Lucky" Lucky. After a visit to the children's literature section to choose their own books, the children decorated "Wild Thing" cupcakes and enjoyed refreshments.
