LIBDEX:  should be an early stop to check all available academic, public, government, corporate, museum, or special  library  catalogs in the U.S. or overseas. We recommend you search by country from the list provided. Even if you never make it to the U.K., the British Public Library Catalog is something to see, with its access to 8.5 million titles dating back to 1450!

LC Z39.50 GATEWAY: The Library of Congress has established the Z39.50 Gateway site using the Z39.50 computer interface. It allows you access to the catalogs of many major universities and other large libraries.

LIB-WEB-CATS: Similar to LIBDEX; maintained out of Vanderbilt University.

SCHOOL LIBRARIES ON THE WEB: A DIRECTORY: Maintained by Linda Bertland of the Philadelphia Public Schools; includes links to school library catalogs. Did you know that most of the school libraries in Greeneville and Greene County are online?

TENNESSEE PUBLIC LIBRARY CATALOG  :The Tennessee State Library and Archives now makes available Web access to all of the public library catalogs in the state. Libraries at this site are arranged by public library region, and if you do not know which region your community's library is in, you may need to run down the list to reach it.
