The Thomas Register of American
Manufacturers...
The dissertation source UMI/Proquest Digital Dissertations, is an excellent source to review the first 24 pages of UMI dissertations published after 1996. You have the option of purchasing the entire dissertation in paper or digital form. Also, the University of Virginia has a directory and short abstracts of Electronic Theses and Dissertations (ETDs) in the Humanities (including those with some economic emphasis) that are currently in progress or have been recently completed. The Networked Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations is another source that has digital theses and dissertations available for purchase. All are excellent substitutes for Dissertation Abstracts which is available at larger universities such as ETSU or UT. Other sites for dissertations/masters papers include Oxford Academic, and, perhaps the most extensive of these retail outlets, Dissertation.Com, which sells downloadable electronic copies.

obtain them from Tate Library via ILL.
