TERRI MORGAN - HIGH SCHOOL ADVISOR
g Hi and welcome to Talent Search. I am a high school Talent Search Advisor/Counselor and have worked in the TRIO Program since August 1997. I graduated from ETSU with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology in 1993 and a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling in 1995. I am married, have two daughters, and live in Greene County. I love working with the Talent Search students: it is one of the most rewarding things I do. When I finished my degrees, I began working in Bristol for a counseling center dealing with young people. After two years the hour drive and the pressure from dealing with troubled youth made looking for a job in Greene County seem like the wisest thing to do and that is how I discovered the Talent Search Program. I believe in this program because I have seen how much it encourages our youth to pursue education past high school. Some of the success stories are just incredible and I can’t tell you how proud I am of the adults who came out of this program. We guide them, but they make the hard choices!
