As freshmen, students participate in the Upward Bound Math/Science component. This part of the program is designed to strengthen the students' math/science background and introduce them to careers in math and science related fields. The Math/Science component includes educational activities and trips scheduled on Saturdays, once a month.
Trips in the past have included: Ripley's Aquarium, Rainforest Adventure, Hot Air Balloon trip, Great Smoky Mountain Institute atTremont, as well as many others! This year our schedule appears to be as exciting as always!
