'Home School Happenings' at Doak House Museum to be held April 2nd through 6th

"Home School Happenings," an enrichment day camp for home-schooled children, will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m, April 2 through 6, at Tusculum College's Doak House Museum.
The program, which is open to students ages 6-12, presents diverse approaches to learning in the historical environment of the Doak House Museum.
Students will spend time working on challenging projects related to toys and games of the 19th century, including kites, quill pens, marbles, checkers, kaleidoscopes, noise makers and game boards.
Children are asked to bring a brown-bag lunch, with drink, and to wear comfortable shoes and clothing.
Cost per session is $60 per child and covers the costs of instruction, activity supplies and snacks.
To register, call the Doak House Museum at 636-8554. Deadline for registration is Wednesday, March 28. Enrollment is limited.
