McDonald exhibit on display in Allison Gallery at Tusculum College
Tim McDonald, at right, talks about one of his paintings with a visitor to the Allison Gallery at Tusculum College during a reception for the artist on March 14. He briefly discussed his use in his paintings and sculptures of ordinary objects and language to explore the "place" where language and experience intersect during the reception. McDonald maintains a student at Rural Resources' Holly Creek Farm and is pursuing a master's degree in painting at East Tennessee State University. His wife, Elizabeth Gordon, is an assistant professor of English at Tusculum. The exhibit will be on display through March 26. Hours for the Allison Gallery are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
