Tusculum College hosts Mosheim students competing in national academic competition
Five Mosheim Elementary School students who have advanced to a national history competition were the recent campus guests of the Tusculum College Department of Museum Program and Studies. Matthew Bible, Lindsay Carter, Hayley Neeley, Brett Wilkerson, and Megan Swecker, front row, advanced to the National History Day competition at the University of Maryland with their self-penned play, "Struggles, Rights, and Colonial Rights" after winning the state competition. The Department of Museum Studies and the Andrew Johnson Memorial Association sponsored the schoolwide History Day at Mosheim. During their visit, the students had lunch with Tusculum President Dr. Dolphus E. Henry in the President's Dining Room, and visited the museums on campus.
