Doak Academy
Students participating in the Doak Academy Day Camps make use of their free time this summer to learn about 19th century Appalachian history and to have some fun too. Above, Anna Jane Taylor, historical interpreter at the Doak House, helps students make quilted squares out of real sheep's wool. Students pictured are Julia Smith (at left), Kate Bewley and Asaka Kondo.
