The Stitch in Time Project at Tusculum College, which creates knitted and crocheted items for the homeless and needy, recently earned $173 from its 1999 afghan raffle. The money will be used to buy supplies for this fall's project: crocheted clothing and hats for teddy bears that will be sent to children in homeless shelters throughout the United States.
