![]() |
The Stitch in Time Project at Tusculum College, which creates knitted and crocheted items for the homeless and needy, recently earned $173 from its 1999 afghan raffle. The money will be used to buy supplies for this fall's project: crocheted clothing and hats for teddy bears that will be sent to children in homeless shelters throughout the United States. Pictured above is Katie Doman (right), winner of the raffled "blue pansy" afghan, with Cynthia Guy, its creator. Anyone interested in participating in the Stitch in Time Project may call 636-7300, extension 254, for more information.
