Tusculum
College Hosts College Fair
Over forty colleges and
universities set up information booths under one roof as Tusculum College hosted
a regional college fair on Wednesday, Sept. 16, in Alpine Arena.
Many colleges within a
300-mile radius of Greeneville were represented at the fair, including all of
the South Atlantic Conference colleges except Catawba College. Nearby East Tennessee
State University and Walters State Community College were also present at the
fair as well as private and public universities from the Nashville area and
as far away as West Virginia.
In addition to having access to information from each of the colleges, students
learned about financial aid from Tusculum College financial aid officers and
federal student support services from TRIO program representatives.
Over 600 students attended, made up of home-schooled students as well as juniors
and seniors from Washington College Academy, each of the county high schools,
and Greeneville High School. Tusculum College provided buses from each of the
county high schools.
