Doak House Holds Open House/Home Tour

The tour offered the opportunity
for visitors to see the 19th Century home of Samuel Witherspoon Doak, the historic
Layman Blacksmith Shop, the Springhouse and the Tusculum Academy, all lit by
lantern light and decorated for the holidays.
An exhibit of antique toys from a collection in
Jonesborough, Tennessee, was also on display at the Doak House in December.
