Doak House Museum To Offer Christmas Home Tour
Display of Antique Toys Among the Attractions

The Doak House Museum on the campus of Tusculum College will offer "Doak House Pilgrimage: A Christmas Home Tour" on Saturday, December 11, from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

The tour offers the opportunity for visitors to see the 19th Century home of Samuel Witherspoon Doak, the historic Layman Blacksmith Shop, the Springhouse and the Tusculum Academy, all lit by lantern light and decorated for the holidays.

Refreshments and stocking-stuffers will be available in the Academy gift shop. For more information, please call the Doak House Museum at (423) 636-8554.

Below is an exhibit of antique toys from a collection in Jonesborough, Tennessee. The toys will be on display at the Doak House until December 17.
