Marguerite Falls

Marguerite Falls, located in the south of Greene County near the Greystone Community, is one of many places of rural beauty easily accessible to students, visitors, and residents. Known as a great place to take family or friends when they come to visit, the falls also offer a very peaceful retreat after a day of studying.

Also, on the drive to the trail are visible several cabins built by the late Marion Edens, Tusculum College Class of '32.

At right: The hike affords many charming views of the stream through a canopy of rhododendron, tulip poplar, hemlock, and oak trees, among others.

The falls are situated at the top of a half-mile, easy-to-moderate uphill hike. Picnics, reading, and simple relaxation are recommended.
