Pioneer Club Kicks Off Campaign
The
Tusculum College Pioneer Club, which
supports the athletics programs at the college, kicked off its six-week fall
campaign Thursday morning, August 20th. All funds raised by the group go to
support student athletes from Greeneville and Greene County, primarily in the
form of athletic scholarships. The Pioneer Club goal this year is $50,000, though
according to Chair Kathy Knight, "we hope to surpass that so we can help even
more students." Athletic enrollment is up at the college for this fall, said
Tusculum College President Dr. Robert Knott.
