President Andrew Johnson Museum and Library visited by CBS News
The President Andrew Johnson Museum and Library is starting to get national attention. The museum was visited by CBS News cameramen Sept. 15. Alvin Gerhardt, Director of the Andrew Johnson Museum and Library, gave historical perspective on the process of impeachment.
The crew filmed several items, including President Johnson's papers, impeachment entry tickets, and a bust of Johnson. Gerhardt answered questions regarding similarities between President Johnson's impeachment and President Bill Clinton's current political problems.
