Shameless bell-pilferers strike! A $1,000 ransom note for the stolen McCormick hall bell was found by Susie Jones, interim director of alumni relations, on Saturday, March 22. Suspiciously, the note was left in the very room, the Daddy Haynes Boardroom, where the alumni board was that day holding a meeting. Is this a message to alumni?

Also found was a cryptic yet charming rhyme (possibly a clue), but none of us were able to decipher it.
