Our Beautiful Campus
One of the best parts about the Tusculum experience is the College's location. The campus and its surroundings are nestled in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains in Greeneville, Tennessee, providing a wealth of opportunities for a number of scenic and outdoor activities, including whitewater rafting, skiing, and hiking. In fact, the Appalachian Trail runs through Greene County and is easily accessible from our campus.
The picturesque beauty of Eastern Tennessee is complimented well by our historic campus. Our wooded 140-acre campus has 19 buildings, eight of which are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Facilities include structures as old as the Doak House Museum (1818), the site of the original Tusculum Academy, and as new as the recently opened Scott M. Niswonger Commons, a center for campus and community life.
The Niswonger Sports Complex, which includes a new press box, field house, and indoor practice facility, and baseball stadium, provides Tusculum and the Greeneville community with a first-class athletic facility, one of the finest of its kind in the nation.
We are pleased to offer you these virtual tours on our web site, so that you may get a glimpse of what Tusculum College and East Tennessee have to offer. Whether you are new to Tusculum, or an alumnus checking up on your alma mater, we think you will find our virtual tours informative and exciting.
