Many important contributions have
been made by women to the East Tennessee region, and to Greene County specifically. These contributions have sometimes gone unrecognized.
Tusculum College will devote a course to the women of Greene County which examines the sigificance of their contributions
to the arts, history, culture and education of the county, as well as the state and the region as a whole.
Students will produce their own video documentary during the course. Each documentary will focus on the acheivements of
a local or regional woman. The finished documentary will be available for download and viewing online.
