Student workers for the School of Education will assist the Certification Officer/Administrative Assistant with various office tasks associated with the Teacher Preparation program. A non-education major student is necessary for this position due to the confidentiality of information in student records. Tasks involved: • Typing • Filing • Making Copies • Entering students progress in data files. • Assisting in the computer lab with the computers and maintaining library book shelves and equipment • Aid with receptions and special events held for other students • Run errands • Keep form files well stocked • Maintain bulletin boards • Help maintain an orderly and efficient office in a professional manner • Other duties as assigned Students must have office skills including typing, filing, and computer programs experience such as Word, Excel, and Publisher. Student must have a minimum grade point average of 2.50, be dependable, responsible and have sophomore or junior status. The student selected for this position must maintain confidentiality and provide professionalism in the work place environment.
